Santa's Sitting Room is a unique grotto/theatrical experience recommended for children aged 9 months to 14 years. A chance for the whole family to embrace the true and magical atmosphere of Christmas past, spending quality time with Father Christmas.
Father Christmas takes each child and their big folk on a journey of nostalgia, weaving in the magic of the Santa Claus story and of course noting down their dreams and wishes into his magic red book! A beautiful antique set, charmingly studded with twinkling fairy lights adorns the parlour where the children will meet Father Christmas, decorated in a Victorian style, globes, lanterns, clocks, writing desks and of course Christmas toys and decorations. This is a treasured event from a bygone era, with all the goodies of a modern-day world where every child will receive a beautifully presented gift. Shaw Productions is proud to present this unique event situated in the heart of Godalming in the Denningberg Centre, (next to Godalming Borough Hall), that will leave children and grown-ups alike, glowingly spellbound with the magical joy of Christmas long after they leave the building. ∙Recommended for ages 9 months to 14 years. ∙Friday 20th to 24th December inclusive ∙Every 30 minutes from 10am to 6:00pm (until 5:00pm on the 24th, no bookings between 1:30pm and 2:30pm) Please note: Each party will be seen individually at some point within their allocated 30-minute time slot. Duration of the visit with Santa will depend on the size of the party. ∙Fully accessible for wheelchair users. ∙We don’t provide a professional photographer, so we’re very happy for you to take your own photos and videos inside the sitting room to cherish the memories.
